Our Story

Welcome to Sueperlicious Malaysian Bakery! You're in for a treat with our delicious authentic and modern Malaysian afternoon tea treats. Sue Chow, the founder of our bakery, started out as a local vendor at farmers' markets in Cardiff in 2018 and we’re now based in West London.

Sue built her career in business development for an event company before pursuing her dream of opening a Malaysian Bakery. She has always been passionate about promoting the beauty and uniqueness of Malaysian food, and over the years, she has done so at farmers' markets, supper clubs, menu collaborations and pop ups.

In 2020, Sueperlicious Bakery officially launched nationwide postal delivery throughout the UK - making it easier than ever to try our authentic and experimental products. In 2023 - after relocating from Cardiff to London, we have collaborated with like-minded partner to launch a Malaysian-style coffee and tea house - a three month pop up called Kopichadim in Brick Lane, Shoreditch, which is the perfect place to experience the taste of Malaysia in a cozy setting.

At Sueperlicious Bakery, we are committed to using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients to create kuih that are full of authentic Malaysian flavours. Sue's goal is to share her love for Malaysian cuisine with you and ensure that every bite is a delicious and authentic experience. Get ready for a taste sensation that will transport you to the vibrant streets of Malaysia!

At Sueperlicious Bakery, we made our very own curry spice blend to recreate the flavour that resembles the ones that you can have in Malaysia. The spiral effect gives the flaky texture to the pastry.
