Hi, I'm Sue.
Sueperlicious began with the kuih I grew up with in Malaysia. My grandma bought them every week without fail, and there were always some on the table to share. When I moved to the UK, those were the flavours I missed most, so I started making them myself.
In 2018 I began selling at farmers' markets in Cardiff, with pandan blondies, Malaysian milk tea cupcakes and traditional favourites like kek lapis and onde-onde. In 2020 we launched UK-wide delivery, and since then we've run supper clubs, chef collaborations and a Malaysian café pop-up in Brick Lane.
Today we bake everything by hand in Nine Elms, London. Our spiral curry puffs have won Great Taste Awards, we've been featured in Eater and Condé Nast Traveller, and we supply cafés, restaurants, delis and farm shops across the UK.
Some recipes are classic, and some are my own twist. All of them taste like home.
