Kaya spread is a Malaysian national spread. This is made of coconut cream, free range eggs and caramelised sugar with a subtle pandan flavour extracted from the pandan leaves finished with a pinch of sea salt.

This sticky caramelised kaya spread is so versatile, it’s commonly used as a spread on buttered toast for breakfast but definitely a delicious ingredient for baking or making desserts too!
